Remote Control using Blynk
By utilizing Blynk's extensive libraries and robust cloud infrastructure, the Automated Pet Feeder can remain in communication with the user's phone 24/7. Notifications and alerts are sent via WiFi to the cloud and can be received anywhere in the world.

The Automated Pet Feeder application allows the user to specify useful settings, such as feeding duration, scheduled feeding times, and preset food amount.

The app also monitors the bowl weight over time. When your pet eats from the bowl, it will appear as a drop on the graph.

In order to provide maximum control, the Automated Pet Feeder app allows the user to manually dispense food at any time using the Dispense button.

Remote Control using Standalone iOS app
Using the iOS platform along with Google's Firebase, a standalone phone application was developed. The standalone application allows the user to control the Pet Feeder in the same manner as the Blynk application, while allowing us to add extra features in the future.
​
The iOS standalone application is free to use and allows for the user to create a unique login using an email and password. The pet feeding dashboard is where the user can edit feeding schedules, dispensing amounts, and much more.
​
The application is currently not available on the App Store.
